A SPACE FOR NAVIGATING MIDLIFE AND BEYOND
Life Coaching for Your Next Chapter
One step at a time, we can figure this out
Hi, I'm Rachel Fox.
For 20 years, I guided teams through major changes in the fast-paced corporate world. When the time came, I stepped off that wheel to create a truer, calmer path for myself. Now, I help others do the same.
We live in a culture that asks us to just keep going, to ignore our own exhaustion and keep ticking boxes on an endless to-do list.
When you’re working through a big change, it can be incredibly difficult to see what comes next. But there are always options, even if they feel hidden right now.
Whenever you are ready, we can gently explore what your next chapter looks like. Together, we will find your pace again.
We can work together to:
Name what needs to change - putting clear words to that vague sense that something has to shift.
Discover realistic options - finding paths that fit your finances, commitments, and health.
Focus on gentle steps - beginning with small actions you can test, rather than massive leaps.
Speak completely freely - talking things through with someone outside your daily circle of family, bosses, or friends.
Your initial conversation is completely free.
No pressure, just a relaxed chat about what's possible.
When you've done everything right, but it still feels heavy.
You take care of everyone else, but your own needs have been pushed to the bottom of the list for years.
Facing a redundancy or career shift, everyone is asking what your next move is, and you simply don’t have an answer yet.
You are successful at a job that you quietly stopped caring about somewhere around 2022.
An unexpected health change has rewritten daily life, leaving you to figure out what comes next.
A major relationship ended, and along with it, the future plan you had carefully built around it.
Perimenopause has altered your energy or mood, and you are gently trying to navigate an entirely unfamiliar version of yourself.
Whatever brought you here, you get to decide what the next chapter looks like
The clarity we build together
Following our sessions, you will find it easier to listen to what you truly need and speak your truth with quiet confidence.
You will have a gentle, manageable path forward that gives your mind and body space to breathe.
The life you live will be one that genuinely feels like your own.
Working with a coach who has walked this path
I know what it feels like when life forces a change upon you. Over the years, I have walked through redundancy, divorce, and perimenopause.
But I also know the power of choosing a change for yourself. For me, that meant building a campervan, letting go of my house, and choosing a freer life on the road.
Reclaiming my peace took time. It required a series of small, gentle decisions rather than one massive leap.
Your next chapter won't look like mine, and it shouldn't. You know your life better than anyone else ever will. But you will be talking to someone who has sat exactly where you are sitting, and who knows that clarity unfolds one step at a time.

What to expect in our conversations:
Grounded in where things are now
The unfiltered version, not the one you give people at work. I listen, free of judgement. Together we find solid ground to build from.
Open to what you truly want
Some people arrive knowing exactly what they want but not how to reach it. Others can't yet put it into words. Both are good places to start.
Pathfinding the way through
Money, family dynamics, confidence, other people's expectations. Rarely one thing on its own. We unpick and balance them together.
Making the first steps
Small enough to try, in the diary, with a date. You come back, we look at what we learned and plan the next one together.
What clients say:
“Fantastic there are no other words to describe…it just wouldn't have been possible without her.. I thought it would take weeks to arrive at where Rae successfully brought me to in such a short space of time... When I was unclear about my thoughts Rae asked the right of questions at the right time and genuinely came across as empathetic and keen to help... Thank you Rae!”
Nikki, 48, facing redundancy
“Rachel was very helpful in helping me think through many questions to find a way forward following an offer of redundancy. She took extra care in helping to decode my ramblings into a coherent structure. I learned things about myself I wish I had learned in my 20s”
James, 51, career burnout
“What a joy it has been working with you over the past three months. I can barely believe the difference in how I feel about the future now - lighter, relieved, optimistic and even a little excited
New future? Bring it on!”

FAQ
-
If you feel that something in your life needs to change, but you aren’t entirely sure where or how to start, then yes.
Many people reach out to me when they are navigating big milestones like a career shift or redundancy, a relationship ending, the physical shifts of perimenopause, or simply the realisation that a job stopped fitting them years ago.
You don't need to have a perfect plan to come to coaching; you just need the desire for a bit more breathing room.
-
Please don't worry if you don't. It is completely normal to feel unsure.
Often, people arrive knowing exactly what they need to move away from, but they cannot yet see what they are moving towards. Other times, it is the opposite. Both are completely natural places to begin. We simply start wherever you are today, and we look at it together.
-
Everyone’s timeline is unique, but we generally find that a series of around six conversations offers a good rhythm for unpicking things and finding your way through.
There is absolutely no fixed commitment when you start. We can talk about what feels best for you during your initial free call, and you can always book sessions individually or in a block of six to fit your life.
-
An individual 50-minute conversation is £50. If you prefer to plan ahead, you can book a block of six conversations for £270 (which works out to £45 per session).
Your very first introductory call is completely free, and there is absolutely no obligation to book anything afterwards. I want you to feel entirely comfortable exploring whether this is the right space for you.
-
Yes, completely. Life can be unpredictable, especially when you are dealing with burnout or major shifts, so I want our logistics to feel entirely stress-free.
If you book a block of six sessions and decide along the way that you have found the clarity you need, any unused conversations will be refunded no questions asked.
You can also reschedule or cancel an upcoming session up to 24 hours in advance with total flexibility.
-
Yes. I believe support should be accessible, especially when you are navigating challenging seasons like redundancy.
For anyone currently receiving Universal Credit or Jobseeker’s Allowance, I offer a 10% discount on sessions.
I also reserve a small number of fully funded bursary spaces for those who would otherwise be unable to access coaching. These spaces are limited and apply to both one-to-one coaching and group programmes. Please feel completely welcome to contact me directly to ask about our current availability, there is never any judgment here.

It helps to think of it this way: therapy often focuses on understanding and healing your past, while coaching focuses on gently mapping out your future.
Coaching is practical, forward-facing, and entirely grounded in where you want to go. Tennis legend Arthur Ashe beautifully captured this process: “Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can.”
If you ever feel stuck in old patterns or heavy emotional trauma, therapy is a beautiful space for that deep healing. But if you feel ready to lift your head, look forward, and figure out your very next step, coaching provides the supportive space to do exactly that.
-
Yes, entirely. Everything we discuss stays strictly between us. Your privacy, your story, and your trust are my absolute priority.
As part of my commitment to your safety, I work in strict alignment with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics. This means our conversations are a completely protected, non-judgmental space where you can be entirely honest, without any consequences to your career, family, or social circles.
-
Yes. I believe you deserve to talk to someone with a solid foundation of professional expertise.
Alongside my 20 years of real-world leadership experience, I hold an MSc in Organisational Development (which focuses entirely on the psychology of how people and teams process change) and I am an Advanced Certified ScrumMaster.
To ensure I am always bringing you the highest standard of support, I am currently training with The Coaching Academy on an International Coaching Federation (ICF) pathway. This involves rigorous practical training, mentoring from an ICF coach, and total accountability to global professional standards.

We meet on an online video call and simply start wherever you are that day. There are no rigid agendas, no forced programs, and no awkward roleplays.
You talk, think out loud, and unburden your mind. I listen deeply, notice patterns, and ask the questions that help you untangle the noise. I keep track of all the threads so you don't have to carry that mental weight.
Fifty minutes later, you will leave with a lower heart rate, a bit more breathing room, and a concrete, manageable next step to try out at your own pace.
