Code of Ethics

I work under the International Coaching Federation Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.

What it is and why it matters

The ICF Code of Ethics is a guiding framework to help coaches navigate their work with integrity and purpose — defining the boundaries between what's acceptable and what isn't.

The four core values

The Code is built on four values, all considered equally important:

Professionalism — being honest, competent, and committed to ongoing learning, and behaving with respect and transparency in all business dealings.

Collaboration — working in partnership with clients, other coaches, and related professions; being mindful and intentional in collective efforts.

Humanity — being kind, compassionate, and open. Accepting that imperfections are an opportunity for openness and self-acceptance, and being willing to acknowledge and learn from mistakes. coachingfederation

Equity — treating everyone with dignity and fairness, and actively bringing awareness to conscious and unconscious biases in yourself and others.
